Financial Accountant

Location: Hoofddorp

Employment type: 32 hours (full-time possible)

Salary: Market-based and negotiable (€3,200–€4,000 gross per month depending on experience)

What will you do?

As a Financial Accountant at Uniserve, you are a key member of the Finance team. You help ensure the financial administration is accurate and under control. You are closely involved in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and proactively identify discrepancies and improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing, checking and analysing purchase invoices and managing supplier records
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable
• Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
• Supporting accruals and accurate cost allocation
• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Contributing to reliable financial reporting and management information
• Identifying process improvements within Finance

What do you bring?

• Completed MBO+ degree in Finance or similar
• Preferably 3+ years relevant experience (e.g. accounts payable)
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g. Exact)
• Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Proactive mindset and ability to improve processes
• Ability to work independently and in a team
